The Swedish House Mafia is a swedish group of three house DJs and producers: Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. Contrary to popular beliefs, Eric Prydz is not a former member of the group. This is something he himself dismissed on his Twitter on March 17, 2011. The Swedish House Mafia released their first official single "One" under the name Swedish House Mafia on Beatport on 26 May 2010.
Axwell has said the formation of the Swedish House Mafia occurred when he moved to Stockholm and met Sebastian Ingrosso while drinking, he later met Steve Angello through Ingrosso.
