A description from bandcamp; "A Shiba is a small solo project by some lame guy in Texas. While primarily acoustic and folky, there's some elements of field recordings, sampling, freak folk, and noise rock"

- The first self published release was a set of singles titled "Intro demo" and "Outro demo", (the final versions later being released on Little Tunes). This release, named "Intro/Outro" came out on November 27th, 2014.
- The first full release is a ~17 minute EP titled Little Tunes, which came out on December 2nd, 2014. It was recorded during the final month they had left to live in their childhood home.
- The second full release is a ~25 minute EP titled, and stylized as FEAR GOD which is "[...] a bit about taking in the city, being scared and my former self" released April 15th of 2015
- The third full release is an ~11 minute EP entitled "Songs abt. Judy", although alternate titles "I'm projecting" and "Lieb Judylieder" also apply. It is an album "[...] about Judy... yes, the rabbit... Yes, from that film" released July 1st of 2018

A Shiba has influences from artists such as The Microphones, Panda Bear, early releases by the Antlers and Wye Oak. Later influences are cited as American Football and i hate myself.
