Josh Ritter & The Royal City Band is the live touring band of American singer-songwriter and guitarist Josh Ritter. The name "The Royal City Band" is a reference to the song "Thin Blue Flame" from Ritter's 2006 album The Animal Years. As well as Ritter, the band includes Zack Hickman (bass, guitar, tuba, strings), Sam Kassirer (piano, keyboards, organ, accordion), Austin Nevins (guitar, lap steel, baritone) and Liam Hurley (drums, percussion).
