Quiet Kid is a Chicago/Evanston, Illinois band, whose latest active period spanned from 1998 to 2007. Founder/singer/guitarist Jamie Bachmann , Lead Guitarist, Stevie Weber and original drummer John Hog Warner were grade school classmates. As the band matured, they enlisted Detroit immigrant bassist and backup vocalist John Llewellyn, as well as keyboardist Chris Scendo, to fill out their sound. After a trio of releases: Imbecilica, Somewhere, and A Bright White Light, Quiet Kid embarked on a creative hiatus, where members studied hip-hop techniques, custom woodfinishing and experience design.
