Starting in 2001, R3v0 was completely different than from what we know it today. Frontman, Andrew Eidson, recently acquired a small computer and a microphone hooked up to it. He used Sound Recorder to record some songs, but they were all just humor-singing and experimenting. Eventually, he was given several music programs from his friend David (deltasleep) and henceforth proceeded to progress. R3v0's first album was nothing but 26 short tracks of weird random vocals. The second album, "Fall of the Mushroom Kingdom" featured his recently acquired dm2 Digital Turntables that he was able to use on his computer occasionally. The second album took advantage of electronics, but also the tracks with 'vocals' remained as simple vocal songs for the most part.

By the start of the summer of 2002, R3v0 started to make more electronic music using the digital turntables, and a program called Rebirth. That program was two synths and two drumsets. It was very easy to make electronic music that was cliche on that program. Two albums were made using nothing but the digital turtables (though they were nothing but presets and remixes except for 4 songs). Also, 1 album was made entirely of Rebirth songs, "New Kind of Stress". Though these albums were never released, they still exist. One album, that was made...but does not exist is "Magnets Made of Children EP" which was made during the summer and included a varied amount of songs. Fruity loop songs, DM2 songs, rebirth, orion, and more. Only like 6 tracks long, he made 12 copies and gave it to people whom he thought would enjoy it. Just as he did with the first two albums. However, this album isn't available any more, as he has given the last copies out several years ago and no longer has a copy of his own.

Before that was made, "Memories" was made mostly during the summer and was completed before mid-fall. Spending the next 3 years at a new school with a new set of friends made this album pretty agnsty, and it showed. There were some songs with vocals, and some with none. This would be the end of an era for R3v0. Fairly lazy, and too angsty to care "Memories" only made it into the hands of a few people. Something needed to change, R3v0 needed to grow up, and to change.

After Memories, he decided to record "Analog Salesman" in mid-2002 and finished near October 2002. "Analog Salesman" was an interesting album in that he finally mixed his vocals with beats. Admittedly, not very professionally this venture was accepted by his friends and peers. Even though none of them really liked it, they admitted that it was a step above from the previous works. The reason it was called analog salesman is because each vocal track was recorded using a mini-cassette voice recorder and using his special Seaman Sega Dreamcast microphone hooked into it for some extra clarity. After this release, and burning tons of copies to give out. He decided to work on his next album.

Somewhere in between Analog Salesman and From Nothing, the "magnets made of children" ep was made. It featured "The Sun is Blue" which was also on "From Nothing" (except it's a different version)

Production on "From Nothing" started in production soon after that. "From Nothing" used the aesthetics of nihilism derived from a recent reading of Friedrich Nietszche's Will to Power. This would feature backup vocals from his friends Geoff Smith and Stephen Parks. They appeared on about four or five songs. "From Nothing" was one of the main things to keep himself busy during the summer of 2003. Flyers were made, CafePress sites were made, and they even put tons of copies at CD stores around the Nashville area. During promotion of "From Nothing" Andrew went on to make more songs while Geoff and Stephen graduated and moved on to college.

Eventually during Junior year, R3v0 put out "Harmony is Overrated" which was the last R3v0 album. The first seeds of this album sprang during the summer of 2004. This album featured craziness, and more experimentation than ever before. 1 hardcore song, 2 noise songs, 1 ambient, 1 japanese song, and the rest were your normal songs...except they would most likely be made to glitch up near the end. No perfect songs, no harmony, no rhythm, but it was lots of fun. Some time during the production of "Harmony is Overrated" Andrew decided to stop the R3v0 project and work on "Say No More Tongues" which would become his prominent venture. Lots of the SNMT stuff is darker, but later on it became more crazy and random as well. The last two releases was basically just a darker version of R3v0 (with finally putting vocals and the crazy noise songs)
