Dspell is a five man strong band from Rochester, New York that plays emotional and captivating modern rock. Think BlackLab and Dishwalla, but a little bit more British like U2 and we have a good musical combination. Not too catchy nor too deep, just very pleasant and personal that will
address to a wide audience.
Of the demotunes that I got from the band and that can be downloaded from their site, two are more uptempo and the other two a little softer.
I think that their style works fine in both versions, but prefer the more sensitive and emotional songs here. Both "Autoplito" and "Saturn Day" has nice shades and feels very present and touching with their melodies.
They reminds me at times of Palo Alto, so if you like them or the bands I mentioned above.
