SBC is a Danish rap duo consisting og Rasmus Larsen and Alexander Wang (who is actually from the Faeroe Islands). The name SBC (acronym for Smokers By Choice) is a satire derived from the name of another Danish rap/hip hop band called Rockers By Choice. SBC had its most productive years from about 1990-1996 where the albums "Klar til hamp" (translates to "Ready to Hemp") "I rog og hamp for Danmark" (trans.: "In smoke and Hemp for Denmark") and "Hvad i humlens navn foregaar der?" (Trans.: "What in the name of hop is going on?") were recorded. The music is generally light hip hop beats combined with intelligent satirical lyrics that mainly center around a central theme of beer, hemp, drinking and partying.
SBC are currently experiencing a musical hiatus mainly due to the duo concentrating on their respective civil careers.
