DJ Sashimi is a DJ/singer/songwriter born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. After selling many yummy cakes at GINZA cozy corner in Roppongi, she moved to fabulous Los Angeles for 8 years, and has recently relocated to Buffalo, NY.

After opening for Good Charamel artists Amungus in 2008, DJ Sashimi has appeared at the 2009 Music is Art Festival in Buffalo as well as doing DJ sets at Music is Art's Chocolate Passion fundraiser.

DJ Sashimi also travels as manager/merchandise girl for Osaka's Shonen Knife in North America. DJ Sashimi's debut single "Japanese Girl In New York" will be included in Good Charamel Records compilation "I Love J-Rock" that came out in August 31st, 2010.
