Jolin 蔡依林 is a talented Taiwanese singer discovered through a singing competition and was signed to Universal Music. She released her debut album Jolin 1019 in 1999 with fairly good sales. The release of her album (Magic) in 2003 has sold over 320,000 in Taiwan alone, making her the best selling female artist in Taiwan to date. Since then, she has gained her fame in Asia, thus gaining the nickname- "流行教主". Her following album (Castle) and had each sold over 1 million copies worldwide.

Jolin is also the spokesperson for products such as Pepsi, Motorola V360, 今生accesories, 蜜斯佛陀lipstick, McDonald, mp3 player etc. and MVs were also produced for Motorola V360 and 蜜斯佛陀lipstick respectively.
