n8k99 is my musical name, my name is Nathan Eckenrode. Much of my knowledge of music comes from the experience of living inside a playground of musical instruments where I am allowed to explore and discover wahtever I want. Currently, I am studying the Australian Didgeridoo and incorporating that instrument into my aural landscapes.

I am also a visual artist(painter) and the two disciplines have begun to overlap, alot.

Previously to my solo work, n8k99 was the guitar player for several bands that attempted to have a go at it and before that I was the lead trumpet player in the high school's Jazz Ensemble.
