4th of July Lyrics

Burning, in the Indiana sun
Driving, aimlessly with coke and rum
I'm back at home
Saving up
Happy watching from the window
Forces calling from the summer pool
I've been alone
So long, so long it starts to hurt

Do you look up?
When you search the black night
Waiting for the fourth of July
Do you look up?
When you search the black night
Waiting for the fourth of July, waiting for the fourth of July

I know I know
This world is so long now
I know I know
One two three four counts down
Then it's all gonna be dark (done?)

Promise you will never hesitate
Every second that you celebrate
Being in love
So long so long it starts to hurt

Do you look up?
When you search the black night
Waiting for the fourth of July
Do you look up?
When you search the black night
Waiting for the fourth of July, waiting for the fourth of July

I know I know
This world is so far gone
I know I know
One two three four counts down
I know I know

I know I know
This world is so far gone
I know I know
But it's whatever you want
