October 19th, 2011 (Atlanta, GA) -- Sean Hill presents his debut solo album Waking Dawn on 11.1.11. The Alternative Christian Rock & Worship artist features his single “Sing For You”, deemed the #2 worship song in AllAboutWorship’s international songwriting contest. Waking Dawn also features “Undeserving” performed vocally by emerging gospel artists John and Joslyn Brockman known for their songs “Heaven on Earth”, “Big God”, and “You Are Amazing”.

Waking Dawn was recorded, mixed and mastered at Uphill Studios in Lawrenceville, GA. Sean, finding recent success as an emerging producer, produced Waking Dawn. Notably, Sean recently co-produced with Dove Award winning producer and songwriter Rod Lumpkin who says, “As an award-winning producer that has been producing CDs since 1998, I can truly say my best work has come forth from being in relationship with Sean Hill”.

The quartet band, including Sean Hill on drums, Robby Lattimore on bass, Max Mitchell on rhythm guitar and keys, and Allen Mitchum on lead guitar, pulled from influences like Phil Wickham, Leeland, After Edmund, The Afters, and the like, to create the musical foundation of the record. In total, Sean brought in seven guest singers, comprised of worship leaders, pastors, and other emerging artists, to assist in performing Waking Dawn vocally. The collaborative effort of singers creates a unique aspect to an album whose genre lends itself to a sometimes-monotonous "front man" persona.
