A New Sky Lyrics

Over and outside
And under
Dark lights will fly

Over a new sky
I don't wonder
Oh why you might

I'm on my way getting pulled to the light
Baby don't know baby don't see you
Baby wont fear tonight
Clearing my eyes 'cause it's so hard to see
If a girl were to come away with me

It's alright it wont be long
You're feeling something
So wont you come outside with me?
Yeah it's alright sing like a song
And now you're flying
So wont you come and fly with me?

Over and outside
And under
Dark lights will fly

Over a new sky
I don't wonder
Why you might

We spread our fins
and we take to the seas
Looking for, wishing for
Somewhere new to breed
Hands in the air going out of their minds
In control but they wont take you alive

And it's alright it wont be long
You're feeling something
So wont you come outside with me?
And it's alright sing like a song
I won't say nothing
So wont you come and fly with me?

Well it's alright it won't be long
Sing like a song I won't say nothing
Go on! And go on.
Sing like a song Just? through me.

Over and outside and under
Dark lights will fly
Over a new sky
I don't wonder
Oh why you might
Oh why you might

The Presets are Julian Hamilton (keyboard and vocals) and Kim Moyes (drums and keyboard). They are an electronic two piece from Sydney, Australia who met when they were both members of Prop. Hamilton and Moyes broke off from Prop in 2003, when they remixed a track, "Magnetic Highway", with "harder electronic edges" under the name The Presets.

The Presets have been one of the biggest indie bands for the past few years in Australia, touring with and supporting many well known bands such as Daft Punk, 2 Many DJ's and Ladytron. Their first LP Blow up combines electro, rock, techno, pop and a handful of other genres together in a seamless manner. Their second album, Apocalypso, was released on 12 April 2008. The album was a commercial and critical success, winning the ARIA Awards for "Best Dance Release" and "Album of the Year" that year.
