Happy Hardcore dj, had track 'Whores In The House' featured on the popular Hardcore compilation 'Bonkers 2'. Not much more is known on the artist.
Darryl Loxton aka DJ Darryl born 13 June 1993 is a young talented DJ/Producer/Re-mixer from a city on the coast of South Africa named Port Elizabeth.
Darryl has always had a passion for music since he can remember setting up, and playing music for family functions. One day he laid his hands on his fathers set of CDJ 100s, he was was only 13 years of age. He says it sounded like horses galloping, and it was the best experience at that time, living in the moment.
All Darryl’s friends knew about the passion he has for music and nearly a decade later we found him still producing. Darryl creates different genres of music, such as various styles of House (Underground, Commercial, Drum and Bass, Tech-House, Deep-House, and more). Hip Hop, Rhythm and Bass on request or for the fun of it. Darryl is also the founder alongside Naz Williams of the Duo, GemSoundz that was established in June 2013.
A promo disc was released a month later. The album will be released on Darkmello Recordings in due time. He made his first appearance on stage at the tender age of 15, at a under 18s party, and doors just kept opening for this young talented DJ.
“I have always looked a bit older than I really am, so it was never a problem for me to enter night clubs to DJ there, but I guess I am busted now LOL.”
Residencies: Laa Dee Das, Buzzbar, Gondwana Cafe, Escobar and Stage 7.
Here are some clubs Darryl has played at:
Dogg Foundation aka La Dee Das, Club House, Yacht Club, Godfather Supreme, Mediterranean, Galaxy and Incognito Lounge.
Darryl also had the privilege of meeting and playing alongside Top South African national and internationally acclaimed artists as well as international DJs like Chris (Dubai), Abhi, Rodger Goode, Ready D and Mi Casa, to name a few.
He is still spinning tunes ranging from new school to old school hip-hop, house, rnb, etc. and is also on his way to studying music technology in order to open a school for production and teach those who wish to be taught.
