About a Stranger Lyrics

Fiddle tunes call the band
A simple melancholy melody
A new day mist
A soft pacific breeze
Now it's all coming back to me

About a stranger and it's real inside
Sometimes nowhere ain't make believe
Orchard girls know only of spring
My love is what this autumn brings

No in house rules just an old tin can
And a ladder made of stars to eden's dream
Like the silver ruse of a tree that sings
A thing so rare as not to know it's name

About a stranger and it's real inside
Sometimes nowhere ain't make believe
Orchard girls know only of spring
My love is what this autumn brings

I have found you lost among the willows
You have held me crying in your arms
I never could and now I can't leave well enough alone
What's a Saturday boy to do with Sunday
Here I am I've been gone away too long
Trying to find some time between tomorrow
How much is gone?

About a stranger and it's real inside
Sometimes nowhere ain't make believe
Orchard girls know only of spring
My love is what this autumn brings

Chris Robinson Brotherhood is an American blues rock band formed in 2011 by Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson while The Black Crowes were on hiatus.

In the fall of 2010, www.chrisrobinsonband.com appeared, fueling speculation that this would be Chris' new project with the advent of the Crowes hiatus. This was confirmed at the final date of the Say Goodnight to the Bad Guys Tour in San Francisco, when stickers advertising the band and the website were passed out promoting April 2011. Eventually, the project was titled the Chris Robinson Brotherhood, and a two months California tour was launched on March 29, 2011 at Soho in Santa Barbara, California. The Chris Robinson Brotherhood lineup includes Adam MacDougall (of the Black Crowes) on keyboards, George Sluppick on drums, Mark "Muddy" Dutton (of Burning Tree) on bass, and Neal Casal on guitar (the latter replaced Jonathan Wilsonn who was initially announced as a member of the band but left shortly after).

The band's debut album, Big Moon Ritual, was recorded at Sunset Sound Studios, Los Angeles, and was released on June 5, 2012. Just three months after later, on September 11, 2012, Chris Robinson Brotherhood's second studio album, The Magic Door, was released. It was recorded at the same time as Big Moon Ritual.

The band released its third studio album "Phosphorescent Harvest" on Silver Arrow Records on April 29, 2014, and its fourth studio album, "Any Way You Love, We Know How You Feel", on July 29, 2016.
