Biography:
Fixion are a rock band from Montevideo, Uruguay (South America) formed in late 2001 insert in the Darkwave and Gothic style. They add sounds of her own inspiration to create a very personal, original and powerful music. After acting in the underground scene access to many huge theatres of Montevideo like "Plaza Mateo" and "Carpa de la
Intendencia" (a council stage, one of the best and larges of the city). They also play live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In their live shows performed, besides her own material, versions of Echo and The Bunnymen, Bauhaus, The Doors, Eurhythmics and The Sisters of Mercy. Fixion are one of the most respected Gothic bands in Spanish language and they are thought well by the press.

Lastest news:
Album: Fixion finished the production of her first long length album called "En La Oscuridad" ("Into Darkness" or "In the Dark") in December 2008. The edition of the record is expected in May 2009.
Book: Information about Fixion is included in Mick Mercer's last book "Music To Die For". Mick is a journalist and author best known for his photos and reviews of the goth, punk, and indie music scenes.
