There are at least three artists who have used the name Bab.


1) Bab Buelens (born may 23 Begijnendijk, Vlaams-Brabant (Belgium). She and her band played in the pre-selections of the Junior Eurosong for kids in Belgium with her song:"Laat mij gerust". She ended second after Trust. She has made new songs like "Zo is er maar één" for a tv program, "Zonnebril" and her latest song: "Heartbreak".



2) Bab - French Rap/Hip Hop :
Born in Haiti, Bab is concious,militant and uncompromising rapper, hard hitting lyrics flow like water. On "Black Star" his debut album, Bab rapped about the state of decay and hopelessness among the youths in the Parisien surburbs before the riots. Bab is a street poet and always goes around with a pen and paper.

This is french hip hop at its best. Bab in one of the new kids on the block from Blancmesnil hitting the french hip hop scene.


3) Bab was a Canadian Goth / New Wave act that existed during the early to mid-eighties. Their only release would be a five track self-titled EP. http://www.discogs.com/Bab-Bab/release/877745
