Austin Klezmorim is the oldest Klezmer band in the Southwest United States. Based out of Austin, TX, the band has a rich history of illustrius musicians including vocalistsSuzi Stern, Susanna Sharpe Donna Mittenthal, and Lisa Mednick. The instrumetnal players include leader Bill Averbach, Steve Schwelling,Jay Rozen, Alex Coke,Danny Levin,Howard Kalish,David Perales, Larry Eisenberg, David Amram, and Mark Rubenstein. They have shared the stage with many songwriters including Alejandro Escovedo, Tish Hinojosa, and Ted Roddy.
