1. PD3 aka Points Proven was(?) Jazz Hop trio from UK, known for album "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" released in 1994. Members were Dennis McFarlane, Billy Ntimih and Kevin Tompkins.

2. PD3 is a London-based trio led by guitarist Pete Downes, with Andy Coe on bass and Tim Bruce on drums. Their first CD, "Sreet Scene", was released in 2003 and featured all home-grown material with strong Pat Metheny influences, along with Jimmy Hendrix, Ralph Towner and Miles Davis. Their second CD "Into The Blue" (2004) comprised mostly cover versions and standards such as "Straight No Chaser" ande "Stella By Starlight".

Shortly after release of their second CD, the trio hooked up with former Ronnie Scott trumpet/flugelhorn player Dick Pearce and in 2006 it was this line-up that released a live CD recorded at the Pizza Express in London.

Downes has also released a collection of classical pieces and a series of New Age recordings. His most recent release, "Elements", is a collaboration with hang drum player Martyn Barker.
