All This Could Be Yours Lyrics

I was silent partner, I could use a shrink
I heard you said the misfortune speech
But I have sympathy when you get up your seat
Before this mess becomes a disease
I have cracked the code on this old machine
Take thousands eyes to be released
But I've been wondering why can't you see?
Where the door opens up and go where it leads

I have been waiting for you to find
All of this could be yours, be yours tonight!
Ooh oh oh (could be yours, could be yours)
Ooh oh oh (could be yours, could be yours)
Ooh oh oh (could be yours, could be yours)

You were packing up but I gave you a bed
You would rather crash, then go straight ahead
I wrote this years ago, but it's finished today
With the help of a fan who was finished the same

I have been waiting, but you would need a sign
All of this could be yours, be yours tonight!
I have been patient, but you've got to try
All of this could be yours, be yours tonight!
Ooh oh oh (could be yours, could be yours)
Ooh oh oh (could be yours, could be yours)
Ooh oh oh (could be yours, could be yours)

All this could be yours
All this could be yours
All this could be yours
could be yours
All this could be yours

Formed in 2004, the band's breakthrough debut Robbers & Cowards was released to considerable acclaim in 2006. The darker Loyalty To Loyalty followed two years later, and 2011's Mine Is Yours introduced deeper anthemic qualities to the eclectic group's catalog.

Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, which features the rollicking, energetic single "Miracle Mile," is Cold War Kids' first release with former Modest Mouse and Murder City Devils guitarist Dann Gallucci, who also handled its production alongside Lars Stalfors.

"We were shaken up, ready to let certain songs go further than before by trying new styles and arrangements, while keeping others sparse and caring more about the finished product and less about how we got there," explains frontman Nathan Willet about the ten-track album, which was recorded at the band's private studio in San Pedro, CA.
