Sadside project is an alternative rock/garage duo formed by Gianluca Danaro (guitar, vocals, mouth-organ) and Domenico Migliaccio (drums, micky keyboard, glockenspiel) in 2006 in Rome, Italy.

Gianluca Danaro comes from the alternative-indie band Polar penguins, bringing his gear to a harder, punchier and top-saturated sound, while alternating it with soft, melodic, and suggestive sounds obtained with either common or unusual tools, effects and instruments, like bottleneck, POG pedal, violin bow, and the cited mouth-organ.

Domenico Migliaccio, both a bass and a drums player, has been member of a number of bands among which Affy bud as a bass player, and Bedtime for Charlie as a drummer. His drums-style, originally trained in hardcore-punk patterns, has achieved more shuffled and variated rythms, but never lacking the hard punch on both drums and cymbals and the fast pounding, which now sides the most saturated and fast guitar parts only.

Influences from the White stripes, the Raconteurs, Wolfmother are common and sought-after, but mainly concerning sounds and effects, while not often tunes, melodies, and vocals.
