Born and raised in California with a knack for writing heartfelt and relatable lyrical narratives, 22-year-old Faith Zapata is a singer-songwriter and musician native to the Bay Area, and as independent as indie artists can get. 
Faith writes, records, and produces her own work from the comfort of her bedroom. Coming from an exceptionally musical family, Faith has been inclined towards and involved with music and the arts for as long as she can remember.

Though she wrote silly little melodies throughout childhood, she picked up a guitar with intention and wrote her first ‘real’ song at age 9. Since then, she’s written songs endlessly, viewing songwriting as a form of “extreme journaling”. At 14, she began uploading voice memos and GarageBand demos to SoundCloud, until she discovered the wonders of independent distribution when she was 17. 
As her creativity and attention-span spiraled out of control during quarantine, Faith began to post original songs and covers on TikTok. Nothing could have possibly prepared her for the response she received, gaining over 80,000 followers and over 3 million likes to date, even earning the approval of her biggest musical inspirations: Taylor Swift and Phoebe Bridgers. While these are all achievements she wears rather proudly; at the end of the day, Faith is just thankful for the chance to share her music and thrilled that there are people who genuinely want to hear what she has to say — which is a lot.
