Are You Coming with Me? Lyrics

Did I find the blood inside my bones?
Reaching out into the great unknown
What a life, what a fucked up lovely home
Polarise, but what if we can't control?

We have the chance to realise
Are we the stars or just the sky?
We have the chance to find our eyes
So are you coming with me?

Will I find the dust behind the sun
You're alive, but so misunderstood

We're so afraid to change our minds
Are we the shark or just the prize?
Though I'm not afraid to open wide
So are you coming with me?

Climb the sky and cut her eyes (and cut her eyes)
Golden eyes are better blind (are better blind)

I don't know what I'm meant to see (meant to see)
So I'll just hold my breath, and wait for gravity
We don't know what we're meant to see (meant to see)
So we'll just hold our breath
We don't know what we're meant to see (meant to see)
So we'll just hold our breath

So we'll just hold our breath
Now are you coming with me?

Climb the sky and cut her eyes (and cut her eyes)
Golden eyes are better blind (are better blind)

I'll go, I'll go, I'll go
I'll go, I'll go, I'll go
Now are you coming with me?
With me!?

Crown The Empire is a 6-piece post-hardcore/metalcore band from Dallas Texas. Starting in 2010, the band set out with a goal to separate themselves in a genre often cluttered with copy-cat bands. They combined their love for the hardcore genre with infectious, loud, and powerful choruses of generations before their own, and ultimately created a fresh new approach to heavier music. Combined with an equal drive to connect with every last one of their fans, they hope to use whatever notoriety they receive to spread a simple message of belief in yourself, and hope in others. Their debut EP "Limitless" released in November of 2011 furthers this idea of zero boundaries on what you're capable of, and has even spawned the name for their fans: "The Limitless". Crown The Empire is geared up for an even more impressive 2012. Armed with new music, new members, and an unrivaled work ethic, the band hopes to take over the hardcore scene, and eventually become one of the major players in rock and roll. Never forgetting that they too are "Limitless", Crown The Empire is a force that shows no signs of stopping.
