With a bittersweet aura, Folly & the Hunter focus their music on nostalgic feelings of heartbreak and loss. Seeing the beauty in tragedy, they create an air of contemplative understanding concerning the feats they've overcome. Everyone battles with inner demons and takes time in their lives to figure out who they are and who they want to be. As the release of their second album, Tragic Care, shows...in time, we heal from hurt and know that life moves on. To dwell and live in sorrow is not the way. With brevity we may grieve, but the time comes when one must harbor investment in the joys of life so as not to be torn asunder.

Formed in Montreal, Folly & the Hunter is made up of Nick Vallee from Vancouver, Chris Fox from Sussex, England and Laurie Torres, a francophone native of Quebec of Haitian/Spanish heritage.
