Luxembourgish performer of Cape Verdean origin born in Lisbon, Portugal.

A music lover since his teenage years, the artist Samy Sam Beats drew his first musical influences from
US and French Rap: his musical favorites are Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, La Fouine and Booba . From the age of 12, the about-to-be Samy Sam Beats took his first steps in the rap game by writing his first texts in French with a group of comrades.

He thus formed his first group as a rapper and poses on instrumentals of B-sides. Samy Sam Beats quickly developed his songwriting skills at the age of 14 thanks to the 'Fruity Loops' software and began his career as a beat-maker.

Shortly after his studio debut, Samy Sam Beats took a decisive turn in his career as an artist: a change of musical direction towards the kizomba style - and this coincides with the rise of this musical genre - The Cape Verdean artist Elji Beatzkilla is also one of his great influences. Rap remains a shearing element in his musical production.

In 2014, Samy Sam Beats emerged on the Kizomba scene thanks to the popularity of his songs "Cara Podre", "Aguenta
