Soberdose is an alt-rock band made up of 4 teenagers from Syracuse, New York. Core members include guitarist Aiden Hanas, bassist Donovan Nguyen, Drummer Jake Seitz, and vocalist Chey. Soberdose first formed in 2018 by best friends Hanas and Nguyen only learning covers and playing small gigs to get started. Over the first 5 years Soberdose saw rapid rotation in their lineup until they recruited talented and devoted members Chey in 2021 and Jake Seitz in 2023.
In early 2023 the band quickly started writing their first batch of songs later to be released as an EP called "Left Unspoken" in August of the same year. Hanas's and Nguyen's experience in classical and alt rock, Seitz's experience in metal, and Chey's experience in jazz and pop punk all effortlessly blend together in a really unique and cohesive way so that a listener of any of these genres would be sure to appreciate it.
In their debut album titled "Bloom" released in July of 2024, Soberdose took everything they've done before and cranked it up to 11. This album is littered with complex rhythms and time signatures, blazing fast grooves, lush harmonies, and ethereal vocal melodies.
