Baby's Got a Whole Lot More Lyrics

I'm hangin up my walkin shoes
I'm gonna bid farewell to the travelin blues
No more chasin settin suns
And livin on the run

Yeah the highways got
What the dirt roads got
And it don't matter if your happy or not
Cause I been down 'em all before
And my baby's got a whole lot more
Yeah my baby's got a whole lot more

I won't miss the late nights
And I sure won't miss the county line fights
No more wayside troubles and trials
And endless empty miles

Yeah the small town's got
What the city's got
And no one cares if you like or not
It don't matter what your lookin for
Cause baby's got a whole lot more
Yeah my baby's got a whole lot more

Half my life has past me by
And I never stop to wonder why
I always felt I had to roam
And I never felt like I had a home

Yeah failure's got
What victory's got
Repetition's what history's taught
So I guess we all know what's in store
But baby's got a whole lot more
Yeah my baby's got a whole lot more

I'm hangin up my walkin shoes
I'm gonna bid farewell to the travelin blues
No more chasin settin suns
And livin on the run

Reckless Kelly is an Austin, Texas based Americana/Texas Country band. The band was formed in Bend, Oregon, but moved to Austin in January 1997. Their name was inspired by Australian bank robber Ned Kelly.

Reckless Kelly's debut album, Millican, appeared in the fall of 1997, and was officially released in 1998; Acoustic: Live at Stubb's and The Day both followed two years later, after which David Abeyta replaced Pollock on lead guitar. Under the Table and Above the Sun from 2003 began the band's relationship with the high-profile Sugar Hill label and won the hearts of the music press and honky tonkin' legend Joe Ely, who sang the band's praises in interviews. Wicked Twisted Road was released in 2005, and the next year the live album Reckless Kelly Was Here captured the band's stage presence. Bulletproof was released in the summer of 2008 on a new label, Yep Roc Records, and includes tracks critical of and reflecting on recent sociopolitical unfoldings, such as the Iraq War and Hurricane Katrina. In 2010, Reckless released an album of songs by one of their musical heroes, Pinto Bennett. Somewhere in Time, in the band's own words, highlighted their love of "straight-up honky tonk". The band regularly returns to Austin to play before capacity crowds at venues like Nutty Brown Cafe & Amphitheatre. 2011 saw the release of the album Good Luck & True Love, which featured singles "I Never Liked St. Valentine" and "Good Luck and True Love", while 2013 saw the release of their long-awaited "Long Night Moon".

The current lineup includes:
Willy Braun - Vocals and Guitar
Cody Braun - mandolin, Fiddle
