Letters From Readers is the visionary-electronic music project of Mexicali musician/composer Gerardo Montoya. An active member of Surf Rock and Indie Pop bands, Montoya fulfilled his truer calling by formulating his own musical style on the side. In 2007, Letters from Readers was born under the direction of Montoya’s vision; that he would experiment and create freely and essentially formulate a one-man band, without compromising his adoration of live sound and all its’ imperfections. “I must use microphones and real drums. There are no boundaries, the world is listening and some mistakes sound good in music.”
