Blame It On Me (feat. Mats Leven) Lyrics

Finally getting over it
Gonna make it alright
I kept on doing all the wrongs
Now I wanna do right

I'll be alive tomorrow
Forever starts today

I'll keep up the fight, the rebellion
Stand up and play
Back on the road that I gotta run
My way's the only way

Blame it on me, blame it on me
God only knows what lie you're defending
Blame it on me, I'm ready to leave
Yea, whatever it takes to be free again

You're prowling like an animal
Searching for it all night
Hungry faces everywhere
Looking but there's no light

'Cause inside your demons are legion
Feeding the vain
And outside the battle is raging on
I'm getting used to pain

Blame it on me, blame it on me
God only knows what lie you're defending
Blame it on me, I'm ready to leave
I can't lie to myself, won't get fooled again
Blame it on me, blame it on me
Somebody tell me why you're pretending
Blame it on me, I'm ready to leave
I'll do whatever it takes to be free again

'Cause my way's the only way

Kostas Karamitroudis aka Gus G., born September 12 1980 in Thessaloniki, Greece is an acclaimed heavy metal guitarist currently with Firewind and Ozzy Osbourne. He has also played in Mystic Prophecy, Nightrage, Arch Enemy and Dream Evil. At the age of 18 he left Greece to enroll in the Berklee College of Music, but left after only a few weeks and began working on making a name on the Metal scene. During his brief time at Berklee Gus came into contact with Joe Stump, who he credits as a great influence on his career.

On July 2005, he temporarily replaced Christopher Amott as guitarist of melodic death metal band Arch Enemy on their Ozzfest dates, and also contributed to their album Doomsday Machine by playing lead guitar on the song "Taking Back my Soul".

He has made guest appearances for various artists, such as providing solos on the songs "Felonies of the Christian Art" and "Life Deprived" by Old Man's Child, from the album In Defiance of Existence, and a few solos on the album Gallows Gallery by the Japanese avant-garde black metal band Sigh).
