Megahurtz was the fictitious one hit wonder band from a 1994 episode of the television series "Weird Science".

Their mega-hit was the song "She's Mean," which stayed #1 on the charts for all of two weeks. Subsequent songs on their debut album were the versatile flops: "She's Angry", "She's Nasty", and "She's a More or Less Unpleasant Person to Be Around".

Megahurtz quickly disbanded after their debut album's failure. Meanwhile, lead singer Thrash went solo with his own album Me Thrash, Alone Without the Baggage, which also tanked. After gaining minimal notoriety in a hemorrhoids commercial, Thrash went on to rock star infamy when he vanished in the middle of his opening set during a performance at a skeazy bar.
