Blur Lyrics

I always saw you as something else
It looks like my eyes played a trick on themselves
But I galaxy it in misguided shade
may erase the image of the life we made

I was set on you, when you had to shift
Mistakenly you had your flaws burned in
And it covers me till I fade to black
Unraveling the film of the life we had

Your black light was too bright but now I can see

Oh, I feel over exposed
Our picture was perfect but now it's just a blur
You got me feelin like oh, oh oh, oh oh, so over exposed
Our picture was perfect but now I know
It's out of focus, cause your just a blur.

You always saw me as something less.
The trust that you had, snapped in a flash
Cause the galaxy and the filter fade
They remove me from the center of the frame

So I let it go, and we both move on
There was no contrast, just black and white
Now we leave our past, capped up in stores
Just a photograph with the edges worn

Oh, I feel over exposed
Our picture was perfect but now it's just a blur
You got me feelin like oh, oh oh, oh oh, so over exposed
Our picture was perfect but now I know
It's out of focus, cause your just a blur.

Oh, I feel over exposed
Our picture was perfect but now it's just a blur
You got me feelin like oh, oh oh, oh oh, so over exposed
Our picture was perfect but now I know
It's out of focus, cause your just a blur.
Cause your just, cause your just, cause your just a blur
Cause your just, cause your just, cause your just a blur

You got me feelin like oh, oh oh, oh oh, so over exposed
Our picture was perfect but now I know
It's out of focus, cause your just a blur.

We Came As Romans is a modern metalcore band formed in 2005. Hailing from Troy, Michigan, We Came As Romans are pushing the envelope, combining influences such as the intertwined singing/screaming vocals of Underoath, the theatrical, orchestra-infused metal of Chiodos, the crushing breakdowns of The Devil Wears Prada and the positive lyrics of August Burns Red on their debut Equal Vision release, To Plant A Seed. Their second album, Understanding What We've Grown to Be, released in September 2011 featured a darker tone than their previous album while still maintaining the band's overall theme of positivity and brotherhood. They announced that they will be releasing their third album titled Tracing Back Roots on July 23, 2013.

Signed to Equal Vision Records (announced April 16th) after being named Alternative Press’ “Best Unsigned Band” early 2009.
