Sunnysmack was born in 1996, when Jason Eddie Nowak and E. Rhodes were going to college at U.W. Whitewater. Jason wrote and sang songs, Rhodes played bass. Rhodes step brother, Joe Mabbott worked at a studio in Minneapolis, and soon after graduation, Jason and E moved to the twin cities to record their first album, Watching Stanley. Joe became the drummer, and the band was born. Sunnysmack put out 2 more albums, with Bill Mike and Michael Rusteck taking turns at the bass. Their last album "The Mezzanine Girls" featured guest spots by Slug and Ant from Atmosphere, Chan Poling from the Suburbs, and a plethora of other musicians from Minneapolis. Joe has gone on to be the main engineer for the Rhymesayers. He has worked with Brother Ali, Atmosphere, Snoop Dogg, Etc. Jason continues to write songs and drink. Read more on Last.fm.
