League of Legends: Wild Rift (also called Wild Rift or WR) is an multiplayer online battle arena game currently available for iOS and Android phones. The game was developed by Riot Games, a subsidiary of Tencent. and is an abridged version of its PC counterpart, League of Legends, with its own champion roster and content releases.

The game was first announced by Riot Games, and entered its first closed alpha on October 15th 2019, coinciding with the 10th Anniversary of League of Legends.

From June 6 – June 27, 2020, the game was released to select players in an alpha test. On September 16, 2020, the game began releasing in closed beta to select regions. On October 27, 2020, the game transitioned to open beta. Throughout the beta phase, the game rolled out to more regions at later dates. Read more on Last.fm.
