"To woe women with our beautiful voices and consume beer in hearty fellowship"

Mannskoret Arme Riddere (MAR) is the official male choir of the University of Bergen, Norway, counting 24 men. MAR meet once a week to sing and enjoy each others company, and of course whenever possible the company of the beautiful female choir, Sirenene.

Since the founding of the choir, MAR have gained acknowledgement among Bergen students with their special mix of incredible musical talent and breathtaking stage acts. The choir often gives concerts at the University and in the city of Bergen.

The repertoire consists of charming, beautiful and funny songs. The songs of C.M. Bellmann is always very popular, as well as drinking songs and Norwegian traditionals. Of course, they always have a large handful of beautiful songs for the ladies.
