Rubik1138 takes its name from the Rubik cube, but with the inverse goal: instead of making six plain color faces, the idea is to combine the colors in every face infinitely. The number comes from the George Lukas film THX1138. The music travels form classic rock to jazz, nourished with electronic glances. The music is instrumental, and the live shows of the band use visual elements (lightning and video).

The band was originally conformed by Dasz Moko, RP, Didi and Mopho (nicknames pretended to safeguard the original identities of the musicians in order to enhance the musical perception from the audience, removing any influence from the real personalities).
