Halicon has been a solo electronic project for Tim Krug since 1995 in Dayton, Oh before moving to Seattle a few years later, and eventually returning to Dayton.

Stylistically the music spans from idm to more atmospheric and experimental styles, utilizing anything from fasttracker in the 90s to modern elektron gear over the years, focusing a lot on FM synthesis and percussive noise. Notable influences include mid-late 90s Autechre, Aphex Twin, Verbose, Cepia, Funckarma, Cylob, E.O.G

Live appearances are rare, with only around ten shows around the midwest and west coast over the last 20+ years. In 2002 imputor? released a short ep entitled Back_up, but many other songs have been passed around on dubbed cassettes and mix cds or posted on soundcloud over the years.
