The chipmunks are made of 3 male chipmunks. Alvin, the leader and full of himself, Simon, the smart one, and Theodore, the sweet and shy one.

The chipettes are 3 female chipmunks, called the chipettes from an old episode, where the chipmunks and chipettes compete for the title, the chipmunks, and then win, get boo'ed and then come up with the name Chipettes.
