Marcel Gidote's Holy Crab is a Czech psychedelic band from Pilsen established in 2019, mixing rock, kraut, and jazz influences.
The band debuted in 2020 with their album Bay Of Roots published through an independent czech label Polí5.
In 2021 the band self-produced their first full-length album Humidity Breaking Limits, where they moved forward to a more complex but heavier modern expression. A new album called Farm Alarm that came out in 2023 works as a striking reminder of the climatic crisis of our planet. Currently, the band is working on another album and in 2024 they have released a soundtrack for an indie game Felvidék, which garned them a lot of new listeners from around the world.
