SPAN PHLY is an independent hip-hop artist currently based in Phoenix, Arizona. He writes the raps and produces all the beats on the majority of his albums to date. The most obvious signpost which separates SPAN PHLY from his contemporaries is his maniacal flow which can too easily be compared to Eminem, but in effect is more akin to Big Pun.
The first album he was involved in was, 'Meet Your Master' released in 2005. His second, 'Waiting for Tragedy' was released in 2006. The third, 'Two Weeks Notice' dropped in 2007, followed by 'Citizen Sade' in the same year. In 2008 SPAN PHLY teamed up with Predicate to release 'Stained Glass'. His fourth solo album is 'Lengthen the Lifespan' - and it came out in 2009. This year (2010), SPAN PHLY united with the producer LOST teamed up to create 'Spy vs Spy Vol. 1'
