The band was founded by guitarist/songwriter/engineer Zak Rizvi, drummer Joe Bergamini, and bassist Frank LaPlaca. In 2001 the group became a six-piece with the addition of Jimmy Wilgus (keyboards), Rich Haddad (guitar), and Karl Kessler (violin) and performed as an opening act for Kansas, Saga, and Marillion with this lineup. Drummer Joe Bergamini is also the drummer for legendary prog rock group HAPPY THE MAN, and plays for the Broadway show MOVIN' OUT. Joe and Zak Rizvi played for over 10 years together in the USA's #1 Rush tribute band, POWER WINDOWS.
