Formed in 2008, War//Plague is a Crust Punk/Metal band based in Minneapolis, MN comprised members from Provoked, Calloused, Pontius Pilate, and Path of Destruction among others. They recorded a 3 song demo in 2008 (at the House of Misery), that is currently available digitally from Moshpit Tragedy Records. Recently, Active Rebellion released 'Smolder' the band's debut 7". Profane Existence released a War//Plague/Police Bastard Split Lp on May 3rd, 2011 - both the 7" and the W//P side of the split were recorded with Amy at Core Source Productions. Not long after recording those records, War//Plague split ways with drummer Chris (Useless Wooden Toys, Detonate, Still Pissed at Reagan.) Early 2010, Chad (Calloused, Wrath) joined the band and they began building the songs which will appear on their next record.
War//Plague returned to Core Source Productions in summer 2011 to record their first full-length LP - On a Darker Dawn - which has just been released by Profane Existence Records.
War//Plague have played shows with: Amebix, Alehammer, Nux Vomica, Resistant Culture, Cop On Fire, Morne, Misery, Assrash, Hellbastard, Cognitive Dissonance, Dresden, Appalachian Terror Unit, Resist, Millions of Dead Cops, Warcollapse, In Defence, Hellshock, Tragedy, From Ashes Rise, Question, and Parasytic.
