Efficacious, a "nom-de-plume" of Brian Cummings from the U.S., most of the time a one-man operation, has been composing for tens of years, having started in the early 80s, with multi-layered symphonics featuring such instruments as a squeezebox, slide, and electone guitar, once the 90s hit, electronica and dance music became the major push for Efficacious. After releasing a few albums to a mostly local crowd (though one purchase was from as far away as Holland.), he settled down to a quiet life of mostly studio work, recording the occasional song, between work, and spending time with family, still belts out a tune now and then.
