Tarkovsky Fields is an American instrumental band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania consisting of multi-instrumentalists James Bentz and Doug Fisk. The band explores themes associated with the occult, the night, metaphysics, and phantasmagoria, adding context to heavy, riff-based compositions that rely on the listener to envision narratives through their own imagination, in absence of lyrics.

The vocation of the project is to create atmospheric and predominantly non-linear music, unrestricted by any one particular genre or style, that accompany dark aesthetics through additional means of collaboration with like-minded artists. Their debut album "Midnight Emanations" was self released on November 17th, 2023, after several years of writing and recording material in Bentz's woodland home studio. Read more on Last.fm.
