Joseph A. Peragine (pronounced pair-ah-genie) is an independent experimental solo artist and filmmaker based out of New Jersey (Formerly living in Cincinnati, OH). He has been writing, singing, and playing many instruments since the age of 14. Joseph's somber melodic music, dark spoken word material, short films, documentaries and music videos are written about his personal struggles with paranoid schizophrenia. In 2010, Joseph had teamed up with LEGENDARY RECORD PRODUCER RON NEVISON (Led Zeppelin, The Who, Ozzy Osbourne, The Rolling Stones, Bad Company, Heart, etc.), GRAMMY AWARD WINNING keyboardist, composer, arranger and record producer JEFF BOVA, Guitarist and Bassist TIM PIERCE (Shinedown, Goo Goo Dolls, Green Day, etc.) and Drummer DENNY FONGHEISER (Bruce Springsteen, Heart, Roger Waters etc.) to record and release a two-song single All Alone Again and Dead. Joseph had also video documented his experiences in working among some of the top players in the industry and had self-produced and released an award winning documentary. Joseph's "Recording Journal Video Documentary" had been chosen as an award recipient for "Music Documentary of the Year" by the 2010 LA Music Awards.

Joseph's song "Dead" had been featured for a period of two months on the "Sonicbids Audio Channel" in flight radio on 3,244 national and international US Airways flights.
