1. An Indipop Hindi / R&B singer
2. A Canadian jazz / pop singer / songwriter, composer and guitarist.

Irena Perkovic's new solo pop/jazz project, REENIE, marks a re-genesis as a Canadian artist; Semi-autobiographical, her upcoming record, "The Real World", will take you through a whirlwind of emotions, while remaining honest and characteristically human at the heart of things. This album features contributions from fantastic musicians and is due to be released in late March, 2012.

Reenie finished her Bachelor of Music at the University of Victoria, where she focused on composition and percussion. In between writing works that were read by the Victoria Symphony and Ensemble Contemporain de Montreal and gigging at clubs in Victoria and Vancouver, she learned to combine her classical training with a jazz sensibility, fiery rhythmic drive and delicate construction of ensemble texture.
