Loe & the Nastys is a fresh new voice in the Twin Cities. Their original music fuses the improvisation of jazz, the structure of popular music, and an acute sense of group interplay. They draw their influence from artists such as Thelonious Monk, D'Angelo, Jill Scott, and Erykah Badu. The group has performed at the Fineline Music Cafe, the Loring Pasta Bar the French Press Jazz Café, the Red Sea, the Loring Park Art Festival and other local venues. Recently, Loe & the Nastys produced its first full length CD. They will record four new tunes in early May, so don't forget to come back and check out the new tracks!
