The Sleeps are an electro-rock trio formed in Cleveland, Ohio in late 2007. The band consists of three friends -David, Andrew, and Ricky- who have been making music together since high school (two of which fronted former band, Party Bear). Since their formation, The Sleeps have been touring the regional club circuit, opening for acts such as Junior Boys, Little Dragon, and Delorean, with their repertoire of songs: a blend of lush, creamy synths, denatured yet shimmering guitar, and concise digital percussion. While instrumental tonality may sport individual hints of retro influenced electro-rock, vocal hooks stand fresh in consistent harmony.

An observer of The Sleeps can expect the performance of a purely live, cohesive, streaming set of songs. The experience is intensified with a combination of diverse colors, coupled with the visual ambiance of glowing, ultra-violet, black-lit reflections. With their unique light display, The Sleeps transform a typical live performance into a visually stimulating attraction.

Highlights of 2010 included an invitation to perform in Cleveland's Ingenuity Festival of Arts and Technology, and a publishing contract with film and television supervisor, Aperture Music. In late 2010 and early 2011, The Sleeps wrote, recorded, and refined new material. This collection of songs, including the single "Fuse," was self-produced, mixed, and mastered, at their Sleep Mode Records home studio. The EP is due for release in 2011 and will be supported by North American tour dates.
