Bluesmith


Based out of Welwyn Garden City, Herts, Bluesmith is a rock and roll band fronted by
James Hatherill and Andrew Laval, and backed by Gandy.

Born in January 2008, the band has been going for over two years, gaining
experience playing in places such as The Venue (Hitchin), The Steamer (Welwyn),
The Tavern (Welwyn), The Marquee (Hertford), The Alban Arena (St Albans), The Hertford
Corn Exchange and the Southgate Club and has played along side a large range of
bands from all styles.

Inspiration for the band and it’s material comes from many legendary rock and roll artists,
including The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Oasis, The Rolling Stones, The Who and The Kinks, all
of which are evident in the band's presence, style, and of course, music.
