Dumb (feat. Meek Mill) Lyrics

Yo...

You ain't right Yo, I know you know you ain't right
Please stop, I know where you was last night
And if you gon' lie, then at least be good
I heard you was in your old hood

I thought we were past these games
No more games, I believe
So now what I hate the most, is you think you're so smart
You think you're foolin' me

Oh, you must be
Dumb, dumb, dumb
I ain't
Dumb, dumb
Oh baby, you so
Dumb, dumb, dumb
I ain't
Dumb, dumb
No, no, no

Don't I deserve it all?
You know I take care of you
Whatever you need I'll do
Ungrateful, look how you repay me
Unfaithful, look how you be playin'
With my heart (Oh.)
You have no regard
I swear
If you keep on doin' me wrong
You'll look up and I'll be gone

I thought we were past these games
No more games, I believe
So now what I hate the most, is you think you're so smart
You think you're foolin' me

I say
You know I know I ain't right
But I know you know I ain't wife
No other chick but you shawty
I ain't trippin' off you shawty
Heard I'm in my old hood
But I ain't trip when you party
Love hurts and I feel your pain
Through all the fame, I still remained
The same nigga, I did
Then I came home and I still explained
All this shit you heard about
You gon' let these hoes come steal your lane
Or you gon let it just die on me
Hold it down and come ride for me

Now if my tears don't mean nothing
Don't insult me with lies
And if you won't never change
Please stop wasting my time
Cause if you wanna go out and be single
Go 'head, I told you I won't beg
Cause I know you gon' miss me
So if you leave, baby you must be

You must be
Dumb, dumb, dumb
I ain't
Dumb, dumb
Oh baby, you so
Dumb, dumb, dumb
I ain't
Dumb, dumb
No, no, no

Biography
Contemporary R&B rising star Jazmine Sullivan spent several years learning the ropes of the recording industry before signing to J Records and making her solo recording debut in 2008 with "Need U Bad."

The Philadelphia-based singer/songwriter began her career at a young age, making her national television debut on Showtime at the Apollo at age 11. Jazmine sang at Stevie Wonder's birthday party at age 13 and signed to Jive Records at age 15. Her stint at Jive Records only lasted a couple years, however, and she was dropped by the label before any recordings were released. In the wake of this disappointment, she began working behind the scenes, for instance working with Missy Elliott on productions for Fantasia's debut album, Free Yourself (2004), and writing a couple songs for Christina Milian's third album, So Amazin' (2006), including the hit single "Say I." Sullivan was then offered a solo recording contract with J Records, which released her debut single, "Need U Bad," featuring and co-produced by Missy Elliott, in 2008. Fearless, her full-length album debut, featuring productions by Salaam Remi and Stargate, among others, was issued that September. US Singles were Need U Bad, Bust Your Windows and Lions, Tigers & Bears. Dream Big was the fourth single in the US and first single in the UK.

In 2009 Sullivan hit the studio again to record songs for her sophomore record. Released on November 29th, 2010, Love Me Back was a contemporary R&B album with touches of pop, soul, urban dance and a song with a gospel-like chorus. Production was done by Anthony Bell, Missy Elliott, Toby Gad, Chuck Harmony, Cainon Lamb, Los da Mystro, Ne-Yo, No I.D., Prolyfic and Salaam Remi. The first single Holdin' You Down (Going In Circles) peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart. The following and final single 10 Seconds reached a high of 18 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart.

On October 7, 2011 J Records along with Arista and Jive disbanded and will from now on release material under RCA Records.

Jazmine's junior effort is called "Reality Show" released in 2015. The first single was called "Dumb" feat. Meek Mill. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
