LaShawn Daniels (born LaShawn Ameen Daniels in Newark, NJ, on 28 December 1977; died 3 September 2019) was an American songwriter. He was known for his songwriting credits on songs by Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Whitney Houston. Daniels won a Grammy Award in 2000 for songwriting on "Say My Name" by Destiny's Child, and was nominated again in 2013 for "Love and War" performed by Tamar Braxton.

Daniels worked with longtime colleague Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and wrote several of the Darkchild Team's hit songs, among them "The Boy Is Mine" by Brandy & Monica, "Say My Name" and "Lose My Breath" by Destiny's Child, "It's Not Right (But It's Okay)" by Whitney Houston, "Tell Me" by Melanie B, "If You Had My Love" by Jennifer Lopez, and "Can't Leave 'Em Alone" by Ciara. He was also a talented vocal producer, arranging most of the vocals on almost all songs he was involved in writing.

Daniels appeared in an episode of the ABC/MTV reality television series Making The Band 3 where he instructed Aundrea on how to complete a difficult vocal. He also lent vocal production to the Beyoncé Knowles single "Deja Vu".
